thumbnails to imagebrowser gallery

Hello,
I am using NextGen 2.0.59 and attempting to use the Thumbnail Gallery. It works fine here: http://arboretum.harvard.edu/library/image-collection/botanical-and-cultural-images-of-eastern-asia/john-george-jack/

But if you click on an image from the above link (e.g., http://arboretum.harvard.edu/library/image-collection/botanical-and-cultural-images-of-eastern-asia/john-george-jack/nggallery/image/jack11/), it changes to the Imagebrowser gallery and it is not styled correctly? Ideally it would open a new window or something? I have tried to add styles to it, but the <div class=”ngg-imagebrowser-nav”> is always hidden behind the text of the page for longer images, and I don’t want the padding to be the same on shorter images. How can I fix this?

Also, this just doesn’t seem correct? It doesn’t seem like I should have to add in so many custom styles to try to get it to behave correctly, am I doing something wrong/missing something?
