Plugin doesn't work with the latest version of Avada theme and Woocommerce

Hi,

Great plugin! I was enjoying it very much until I upgraded the theme, Avada, and Woocommerce. After the upgrade, the plugin has a wonky behavior on the site. You can see it here: http://test.kamig.org/2013/10/11/how-to-sign-digital-documents/#prettyPhoto

I use this site to test the upgrades before I upgrade my actual site. Now I run Avada 3.4 (http://themeforest.net/item/avada-responsive-multipurpose-theme/2833226), Woocommerce 2.1.5 and WordPress 3.8.1.

On the actual site, everything works fine with previous version of the Avada theme 3.2.1, WooCommerce 2.0.20, and WordPress 3.8.1: http://www.tekcafe.com/technology/how-to-sign-digital-documents/

My problem is now I can’t upgrade my actual site because this plugin wouldn’t work properly. And if I deactivate it, it would break all the image links in the galleries and I need to regenerate all my galleries. So I’m stuck.

Hi Kamig,

I haven’t tested the plugin with avada yet. I have used the theme though, but I wasn’t too fond of it because it is so heavy and just a developers-nightmare because there is so much code to go trough, so I really hope it has nothing to do with the plugin.

You said that deactivating the plugin causes all your image links to break. That’s weird because RGG doesn’t change a single thing to the code or the database. Everything it does is add a little javascript and modify the gallery HTML at runtime. Once the plugin is disabled the gallery will fallback to the native WordPress gallery. This is by design and I have put a lot of thought in this process because it’s not cool if a plugin keeps [quack]ing up a website after it’s deactivated. My guess is that you will need to take a look at the lightbox plugin you are using. I’m pretty sure that that is the reason your image links aren’t working anymore.

Also, keep an eye out for updates, I’ll try and test the plugin with avada before the next release.

Hi, I’m having a similar problem.
I’ve been using Weaver-ii theme and recently started using Woocommerce to add a shop to my website. It seems that there is a conflict with Woocommerce because the plugin stopped working. Now it just shows the images in the gallery in large sizes without any grid structure or on hover action. When I deactivate Woocommerce, it works lovely as it used to. I think I will use the native WordPress gallery for the time being(for me, it does work when I deactivate the plugin) but would love to use your plugin again. I’d appreciate it if you could figure out a solution.
