Have you tried to temporarily:
– deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

Thanks for the tips. Actually, I had to undo the update (back to 5.4.3) since the above problem was only the least of my worries and I’m working on a live site.
A more significant issue was the message “no locations” showing for a a large number of places where I use “locations_list”. Oddly, it seemed to do this randomly (so not consistenly for a specific city, some custom attributes some not).
If this sounds familiar, please let me know. For now I’ll see if I can dig through the support forum between the latest version and the one I’m using to see if a similar situation has occured before.
