    What are the required server configurations?

    Hello,

    If possible, can you provide a link to your site?

    Also, have you tested when logged out of WordPress? By default, Quick Cache does not cache logged-in users, so you won’t see the notes in the sourcecode unless you’re logged out.

    Thank you.

    Could you please verify that you’re not running any incompatible plugins?

    If you’re not running any of those plugins, could you please provide a list of plugins that are currently active on your site? It sounds like a plugin conflict might be causing Quick Cache to not run properly.

    I’ve tried and disabled all other plugins, and switched to the twenty fourteen theme. But still no luck.

    I’ve also found out that the Quick Cache plugin doesn’t also work on some websites on the same server.

    That’s why I’m supposing it could be a server configuration issue that’s causing this problem.

    In that case the best way to troubleshoot this would be to have the web host look at the PHP error logs on the server to see if Quick Cache is generating any errors.

    PHP 5.3+ is the primary server-side requirement for Quick Cache.

    If your web host is doing some other server-side caching or database caching, that might cause issues with Quick Cache.

    Can I send you the FTP & WordPress login details so you can have a look?

    @mazinger That would require submitting a support request here.

    I’d be glad to know what will be the solution as I have the same problem:

    cookingwithpeachy.com

    PHP 5.3.28

    Nothing is saved in the cache directory

    @davidebabylonia I just visited your site (cookingwithpeachy.com) and looking at the source (View Source), I see the Quick Cache notes that indicate Quick Cache is working as expected:

    <!-- Quick Cache file built for (http://www.cookingwithpeachy.com/wordpress/) in 6.10444 seconds, on: Mar 26th, 2014 @ 10:36 pm CET. -->
    <!-- This Quick Cache file will auto-expire (and be rebuilt) on: Apr 2nd, 2014 @ 10:36 pm CEST (based on your configured expiration time). -->
    <!-- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -->
    <!-- Quick Cache fully functional :-) Cache file served for (http://www.cookingwithpeachy.com/wordpress/) in 0.15541 seconds, on: Mar 26th, 2014 @ 10:16 pm UTC. -->

    Oh yes, but I had to deactivate and reactivate to receive the message about the modification on the wp-config.php and the it worked!
    But, I tried enabled the browser side cache and I noticed that in few minutes, no matter what page I clicked from the main menu, I got served the same page, but with the correct url on the browser address bar. I never receive visits from logged users, that’s why I tried. I have wptouch as well, so I will likely pass to QC pro.

    That sounds like a JavaScript or other theme-related error–I have not run into that before.
