  • No, my plugin won’t help you. Only because, to give your authors control of its settings, would require that you allow them to make changes to these settings for other posts, as well.

The best way to do that would be to use a WordPress Network and give each author their own Site. It can look like one Site to the outside world because you can make a Network look like this:

    • dailytwocents.com is Site 1
    • dailytwocents.com/barb is Site 2
    • dailytwocents.com/jill is Site 3

Each Site can have a different Theme and you can define the author as the Admin solely for their Site.

Thanks for the quick response, but that wont help me at all as we’re a multi-author article site.

One domain name, multiple WordPress sites, one per author, each looking like they have their own subfolder. That would look to the world like a single web site, but would actually be powered by multiple WordPress Sites, all in a single WordPress Network.

    Wouldn’t that work?
