• I installed and activated the plug-in content aware sidebars to my wordpage account and suddenly the page went blank and displayed:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_post_type_archive() in /home/content/c/a/m/camplaurel/html/wp-content/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/modules/post_type.php on line 125

Now I can no longer access my account to remove the plug-in or edit my site. Also the front page of my website, http://www.laurel-foundation.org, is inaccessible and displays the same message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_post_type_archive() in /home/content/c/a/m/camplaurel/html/wp-content/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/modules/post_type.php on line 125

Please help!!! I can’t believe our company’s website is gone.

  • Site looks find though, did you manage to disable it already?

    Hi,

If you are unable to access your dashboard due to a plugin, simply connect via FTP and manually delete the plugin. Your site is not gone. What this error means is that the plugin is referencing a function that doesn’t exist, and therefore Php cannot continue processing the rest of the code. Once you delete the plugin, the site wil function normally.
