   WP: 2.5
   Sitemap v: 3.1.0.1

   The sitemap still updates whenever I make a new post but does not *include* that new post. It stopped adding new posts back in early April, nothing after that date. I've deactivated and reinstalled plugin. I've deleted current sitemap. It takes 4 seconds and 13M to build the sitemap.

   We moved hosting company around this time. The site functions correctly in every other way.

   Any help much appreciated.

   Hi,

   could you check if your sitemap is actually modified? You can do this by comparing the last modified date of the sitemap.xml file with your ftp program. If the file is old, you may check if the path to the blog directory is correctly detected on the plugin configuration page.

   Hi,

   i have the same Problem. My sitemap.xml does not update. The modified date ist old. The blog directory ist corectly detected. If i rebuild the Sitemap the newest version with all Posts are build.
   The Sitemap configuration site sayed:
   # Your sitemap was last built on July 11, 2008 8:21 am.
   # Your sitemap (zipped) was last built on July 11, 2008 8:21 am.
   bute the file is not modiefied.

   Same problem. Stopped working 26 April.

   Debug mode reports a file ini-set() has been disbaled for security reasons in sitemap-ui.php line 91

   Under errors warnings and notices it reports:

   Undefined index in /includes/file.php line 25 (repeats 4 times)

   And:

   Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): 174 is not a valid MySQL result resource in /wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/sitemap-core.php on line 1910

   Sitemap page itself reports success, but the file is still the April version.

   UPDATE:

   Checking "Enable MySQL standard mode. Use this only if you're getting MySQL errors. (Needs much more memory!)" APPEARS to clear the problem, (although the file.php error is still there and repeating 4 times)

   One of the problems of the sitemap plugin is that it is having to use wordpress methods in a bit of a weird way to get the job done, because wordpress doesn't offer any native support for sitemaps. As a result, the amount of memory and resources to product a sitemap goes up in relation to the number of posts in your blog. You may find as a result that this blows up because you exceed the amount of memory allocated to run the task.
