   hi all,

   i'm just wondering if there are existing tag cloud widgets that do this? i have wordpress set up like a portfolio site with a blog and i want to show only the tags i used in posts filed under the blog category. is this possible?

   Simple tags can do this (and a lot more).

   does Simple tags have a function which allows it to only show posts from a certain date range i.e current or previous week.

   Not sure about the date range, but might also look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tdo-tag-fixes/
