Hi Samantha,
I have not heard of Visual Composer, is that a plugin?
Hey, Visual Composer is one of my favorites! http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431 – Since I love both of these plugins so much, I’m going to write up a quick tut today on how to use Custom Post Widget with VC. Stay tuned!
– Jonah
Jonah! it WORKS! Thank you for the tut! 🙂
Johan, thank you for making a useful plugin!
Thanks for the tutorial Jonah!
Have you created a button in visual composer to put custom post widget ?
Thanks for the latest version with the update found here.
One more step, please—
+1 combine Jonah’s code into CPW.
With Jonah’s permission of course 🙂
Thank you for your consideration.
I have just implemented this in a compatibility plugin that can be downloaded for free at DeMomentSomTres
Hi,
I do not know if it would have to open another post?…sorry if so
Anyway, I have some doubts about the operation of this plugin with visual composer. Is it fully operational.?
Many options do not work me. For example, using custom backgrounds or customize css.
Does not work if the page where the widgets are no formated text with VC.
Would you this happens, too?
thank you very much
Hi Luis,
Have you tried disabling the custom post widget plugin to see if the visual composer plugin works well without it?
Unfortunately I have no knowledge of the visual composer plugin so I will have to refer you to their support site: http://support.wpbakery.com/?envato_item_id=242431
Hi Johan
Yes,Visual Composer works well in Pages and Post but in Custom post widget no.
Visual Comoposer builds a CSS (.vc_custom_1424173925) to a page which saves in the database. And only works with that page . With P.C. keeps nothing.
I will ask them to see what he says
Thanks a lot
In the support section of visualcomposer have` responded “There is a mismatch of ids (the one block Where content is created and the page Which displays the sidebar) and the related css Hence it is not Being Applied.”
No solution 😔
