• Hi,

I recently created a website with wordpress, Responsive Theme, qTranslate (all with the latest versions available) but the post date on my pages are not displayed, instead the format is shown. This happens only with I activate qTranslate and disabling it instantly shows back the date, both in FR and EN. Here is a link to show the behavior :
http://stanislaschevallier.fr/?page_id=98 Right under the topic name you will see “Posted on %A %B %e%q, %Y by syan”

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate/

  • Same here. It’s not a theme related issue. the weird date displays also in the backend.

i’ve tried to change various date format (i use j F Y ), with no luck.

    Resolved!

Under “advanced settings” in the plugin settings page i’ve choosen Use strftime instead of date and replace formats with the predefined formats for each language.
You can then edit preferences for the single language if they use different formats (as italian and english)

Perfect ! Well I won’t advertise it as a bug then, maybe a too well hidden feature 🙂
    Thanks a lot !
