Twentyfourteen as Shown

    In the twentyfourteen theme image, it is shown to have a slider at the top, the left sidebar, but the content looks to be two column or there is an additional right sidebar.

    I cannot seem to figure out how that additional sidebar or split column content is acquired.

    Where can I find to accomplish that?

    It’s another sidebar area. Go to Appearance > Widgets and it’s called the Content Sidebar. Drag & drop whatever widgets you want to appear.
