• Great plugin! I noticed something funny going on with prices. Two issues I noticed:

    1. When creating a new product in the csv, the price field is not retained and sometimes the title does not work — one line of example input looks like this:

GTG-POUND,Product Name (1lb),A short desc,"A really long description that is put in quotes because it is a string",18.00,0,1lb,0,Cheese,12.00,Twelve,instock

Essentially I have to manually go in and update the post_name and regular_price in the admin area instead of picking up the data from my spreadsheet/csv. Other fields appear to come across fine.

    2. When I go in to manually edit products in the admin, the price field does not display even if I have set it in the backend overwriting the csv info. I can’t seem to find too many folks having issue with woocommerce core and this particular problem, and can’t find any other plugin conflicts.

Thanks for any insight you might provide!

    Cheers,
    Steve

To add to the mystery, when I visited a new product I created, the slug was perfect and the price was sitting in the regular price field, yet I needed to go in and hit ‘update’ for it to take effect. There was nothing in the product name field. Hoping that extra info helps. Thanks again.

I have found that if I put the product name as the post title, and the price as price, it works. Regular price doesn’t work as an import field.
