Hello I am trying to edit the layout of my new user registration and login.

Basically I am trying to add a line of text underneath the “log in” button.

Could someone please let me know where this could be achieved? I know it will be somewhere at the bottom of the wp-login.php page, but I have been unable to accomplish my goal.

  • You should not try to change this directly — as soon as WordPress is being updated, your changes may be overwritten again.

Look into using a plugin that will allow you to customize your login screen: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=customize+login+screen

I know it will change when wordpress creates an update.

However, what I am trying to accomplish will only add 1 line of text:

should be something like e__(“text goes here”) or something..

I would either decide to delete or re-add the 1 line of text into the code on updates depending on if I still wanted that text line being displayed on login…

nm I figured it out on my own..
