• I have my website and blog working on my own domain. But ever since I installed it, randomly out of no where once I go offline, I come back and the blog isn’t displaying. Instead it reads “Directory of…” and errors out.

When I go to my root directory, I find a “blog” folder that is empty and once I delete that, everything works fine. But randomly throughout the day even when I am not in the admin of the site, it installs the folder again and shuts down the blog. I’m going crazy!

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, right now. I just deleted the “blog” folder on my root directory, but within hours, it will install it again (from I don’t know where) and the blog will error out.

Thanks for the .com notice. I corrected it.

Hi @eyesforlies, have you made any progress on this? I’m having the same problem.

My hosting company claims it’s not a server-side problem and they referred me to this thread as evidence to support that claim. It seems to me that you and I could have the same server problem just as easily as we could have the same WordPress problem.

Here’s a screenshot of my plugins. Do you see anything in there that matches your site’s plugins?
