HELP : Got a problem With SLIDER!

Really like this elegant wordpress theme! but there is some problems
as author’s instruction, I have already set up the “Featured” category whit Slug”feature” in post categories.
and i also have posted two articles which are using the suitable ratio pics that you mentioned in the instruction.
i thought the slider on the homepage could have effected well. but the truth is that slider seems have a wrong position and with no pic , it does not stand in the right place where is below the header and nav but coverd the navigation.

this web is now using the free VPS, so when visit you make have bad feeling about the ads.
