This might be something for the “beyond codex” board but I can’t post it there since I’m not a moderator.

I’m trying to setup a site where my old high school classmates can stay in touch. I want to keep it very simple for them to use therefore I want to avoid them being confronted by the WP-Admin area. As the members will be Authors, I would like to place a post form on the frontpage just like the comment form at the bottom of the post page. The post form may also be on an separate page as long as they’re not faced with the Admin area.

As an alternate solution I’d be happy to integrate BBPress into WordPress or switch to BBPress altogether if I can get it to look like Wordress blog and not like a forum.

So basically I want a blog that functions like a forum or a forum that looks like a blog.

I’ve found information on how to add WP content to BBP but is it possible to add BBP content into WP?

I’ve look though the support forum but haven’t come across any info that seems to relate. If anybody can point me in the right direction it would be a great help.
