maybe there is a problem with comments?

    my site is new,and I’m receiving a lot of new user registrazions,but nobody has yet added a comment.I know that they can add comments,because I’ve registered an account on my site just for test,and the comment now appears on the site,so why only this morning I’ve receiver 14 new registrations,but nobody has yet added a comment?I have 57 users and zero comments.!That is normal?

    There’s not really any way of knowing without having your site URL.

    I registered and placed a comment which appears (to me) on the site.

    Your large number of registrations may be due to some spam bot registering multiple fake users. Take a close look at each of the new users to see if they look suspicious.

    there are a lot of new users with an username like this WilhemiStrouse,with 2 capitalized letters.I think that they are the ones generated by spambot.I can block them with captcha?I’ve received other 5 registrations!
    now I will delete all the users with 2 capitalized letters

    I’ve added the captcha but I’m still receiving spam registrations!how I can avoid this?thanks

    You could consider using a new user approval system. This plugin would help with that:

    yesterday I’ve noticed that this users have added also some posts in the Uncategorised category,but if they are just contributors,and can only comments,how it is possible that thay have added posts to my site?

    It’s not usually possible. How are new users given the contributor role. The account I created as a test the other day does indeed have the ability to create posts. This really shouldn’t be the case.

    From where did you get the theme?
