Featured image not working on custom content type

    It seems to work only if the featured image is a new upload. Selecting an image from the media library does not work. Is this a bug?

    I’ve added a new field specifically for the featured image of a post. The image_attachment field requires the image be associated with the post, where as the featured image field uses the wordpress functions to identify the featured image.

    Let me know if this works better for you.
