• I’m pretty new to this so apologies.
Using Twenty Fourteen to create a photography oriented website. I want all pages of my site to fill the screen automatically. Right now it looks like this. Please excuse the sad look of the site- just starting out here…
    Thanks for your help.

  • Without adding custom code, the site will never be wider than 1260 pixels wide so you’re going to add to do some extra CSS code if you want the site to be wider.

On a side note, disabling right-click on a site is considered somewhat bad practice. I understand you’re trying to stop people from downloading photos, but disabling right-click won’t stop them (there are many ways around) and you’re actually crippling basic browser functionality.

Thanks for the info about the CSS code. Regarding the other thing- until I find an option that is better losing the right click functionality is a small price to pay. I looked at other plugins and found one that blocked many of the easiest most common ways people steal content but it conflicted (caused WP to crash) with one of the core editing functions of WP so I had to delete it. Have you got a suggestion on how I can do more to prevent people from stealing my work that does not cripple the fucntionality? If not- oh well, I will embrace bad form 😉

    Put watermarks on your photos.

Point is, if you don’t want people to steal your photos, then you shouldn’t make them public.
