    Hello,

We are using (or trying to use) the bol.com plug in for our website. But after several attempts, it’s still not working. When using the plug in, it shows two errors:

When we go to http://www.interlinguals.com we automatically go to the http:// website. So when editing the website, it’s in the http:// version. When using the http:// website, the error is as follows:

Error: Bol.com promotions could not be loaded

60 SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Client/Curl.php 127

Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘RuntimeException’ with message ‘SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed’ in /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Client/Curl.php:127 Stack trace: #0 /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Browser.php(88): Buzz\Client\Curl->send(Object(Buzz\Message\Request), Object(Buzz\Message\Response)) #1 /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Browser.php(67): Buzz\Browser->send(Object(Buzz\Message\Request)) #2 /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Browser.php(25): Buzz\Browser->call(‘https://openapi…’, ‘GET’, Array) #3 /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partne in /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Client/Curl.php on line 127

When adding the s (https://) to the URL, the first part of the other error shows up:
Error: Bol.com promotions could not be loaded

60 SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed /home/sites/site2621/web/wp-content/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/vendor/kriswallsmith/buzz/lib/Buzz/Client/Curl.php 127

With the https:// version, the different fields are visible (name, subid, title/link, etc.), and it’s possible to change something in those fields. But when you click “insert” nothing happens.

We already contacted our hosting provider, and they said we needed the CA certificate, which we have now, but the plug in still doesn’t work. They also changed some settings for the CA certificate.

Could anyone help us out with this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

For the plugin to work it doesn’t matter or you own website is running on http or https. Both cases should work. What does matter is the support of your hosting environment to retrieve information from https url’s.

Please also see the FAQ section: ‘Plugin can’t connect with the Bol.com Open API. Fatal error: ‘SSL certificate problem’ on http://wordpress.org/plugins/bolcom-partnerprogramma-wordpress-plugin/faq/

When you receive this error, it likely means that your CA is out-of-date and needs to be updated. Generally, updating your OS will also update your CA and solve the problem.

    Hello,

Our hosting provider says that the SSL certificate is up to date, but it still doesn’t work. So we don’t really know what else we can do to make the plug in work for our website..

    Hi,

Your response: ‘SSL certificate is up to date’.

It is not about your SSL certificate for your website that has to be up to date. What does matter is the support of your hosting environment to retrieve information from https url’s.

    Hi interlinguals,

You can check this post for a possible other solution if it is still not working: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/ssl-certificate-problem-4?replies=4

    Hello,

That problem has been solved now. Our hosting provider found the problem and took care of it. But now we have a different problem. When we try to add material to our website, a white picture with bol.com in it shows up, and it redirects to the bol.com homepage. But I already saw that there was another topic that discusses that problem.

    Hi,

I know there’s another topic about this problem, but according to that topic the problem should be resolved when the short_open_tage is ON (which is the case with our website).

I used both the plug in to add products, and the code generator on the bol.com partnerprogramma page.

The code that appears when adding a product with the plug in itself is the following:
    [bol_product_links block_id=”bol_53426e223dc8a_selected-products” products=”1001004011779761″ name=”English grammar in use” sub_id=”Blue Murphy” link_color=”003399″ subtitle_color=”000000″ pricetype_color=”000000″ price_color=”CC3300″ deliverytime_color=”009900″ background_color=”FFFFFF” border_color=”D2D2D2″ width=”250″ cols=”1″ show_bol_logo=”undefined” show_price=”1″ show_rating=”1″ show_deliverytime=”1″ link_target=”1″ image_size=”1″ admin_preview=”1″]

The code that appears with the productgenerator on the bol.com partnerprogramma page is as follows:
    <script type=”text/javascript”>var bol_pml={“id”:”bol_1396862946324″,”secure”:false,”baseUrl”:”partnerprogramma.bol.com”,”urlPrefix”:”http://aai.bol.com/aai&#8221;,”productId”:”productid=1001004011779761&”,”site_id”:”21788″,”target”:true,”rating”:true,”price”:true,”link_name”:”English grammar in use”,”link_subid”:”Blue Murphy”,”image_size”:true,”image_position”:”left”,”width”:”250″,”cols”:”1″,”background_color”:”#FFFFFF”,”text_color”:”#CB0100″,”link_color”:”#0000FF”,”border_color”:”#D2D2D2″,”letter_type”:”verdana”,”letter_size”:”11″};</script><script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://partnerprogramma.bol.com/partner/static/js/aai/clientProductlink.js&#8221; id=”bol_1396862946324″></script>

When I use the plug in to find products, it shows a blank bol.com image, when I’m using the code from the bol.com website (the java one) it doesn’t show anything.

The page we are trying to use for the plug in is: http://www.interlinguals.com/bol-com-test/.

Do you happen to know what the problem might be? I already asked bol.com, but they referred me to this forum (again).

I hope you can help us.

    Thanks in advance.

We contacted interlinguals. The problem was caused by a javascript error in the theme that was used on the website. When using a theme that had no javascript errors the plugin worked correctly.
