Gravatar won't change.

    So this problem has been going on for a while, I am using a child theme of Highwind, everything is done correctly and works. Though when I removed a mail from Gravatar and changed it on my WordPress user (the only user, aka the admin) the Gravatar disappeared, I have verified the service on Gravatar as well but it simply won’t change.

    What am I doing wrong?

    NOTE:

    My email is the same on wordpress.org, my site, gravatar and everything. It has updated everywhere with the Highwind theme.

    The child theme contains:

    style.css
    footer.php
