• I have just completely administered myself into a complete hole. This is so ridiculously complicated and confusing (and i have been using WP for years now)

    1) I mistakenly set up a WP.com site with the purchased domain madstad.com
    2) I realized I actually wanted a WP.org site so that I could use plugins and host it myself
    3) I successfully redirected the domain to point at bluehost servers
    4) I successfully created a new site by installing WP with bluehost

    (this is when things started to go haywire)

    5) Weird things started to happen culminating in my browser throwing a “too many redirects” error and telling me it was stuck in a loop
    6) I cleared the cache and cookies only to find myself administrating the .com site which was different than my new bluehost-ed site.
    7) I discovered that you cant have two sites with the same email address, so I followed the WP Help and changed the email (I validated it by clicking on the email link sent by WP)
    8) I’m completely locked out and baffled. Neither email works and I cant access my site at all!
