Unfortunately there is no way to link directly to a category listing or category from outside the plugin.

This is being fixed in the next release. Everything has been migrated to using custom post types and taxonomies, which will permit direct links to all your categories and listings.
Hey Mark,
Any idea when this functionality will become available? I’m working on a site for a client that requires to be able to link to the categories, however, if I can’t get it functioning within a week or two, I’ll have to move to a different plugin, which I really don’t want to do. I like yours!

This functionality is a part of the plugin as of right now, but I can’t guarantee a stable version release in the next two weeks.
As of right now we’ve begun the beta testing cycle, however I’m requesting that everyone who is testing run it only on a development or staging platform. It’s definitely not production ready – it’s very close, but not quite there yet.
I may be able to tag a more stable release candidate by the end of two weeks, which should be relatively safe for a production environment on the understanding that some features may still break or not function exactly right.
