USPS API Prices not matching USPS.com and providing limited options

    When adding packages to our store and using the USPS shipping calculator the prices do not match if we enter that same information on USPS.com. We are entering the same dimensions and weight for both. We also see limited options even though we have all the shipping options selected in the back end. Is there a reason this would be happening?

    Can the difference in prices be accounted for by the difference between commercial base pricing and retail pricing?

    I am not sure, we are just using http://postcalc.usps.com/ to compare the prices.

    So I have found out it’s because the item in the store should technically require the Large Package shipping since it’s length is greater than 12 inches. However it’s just sends back shipping rates as if it’s just a normal package. Is there any fix for this?
