Please check that you have put the text widget in the proper widget area. You have some extensive settings related to this at Appearance->Theme Options at the Layout and Sidebars tab.
And please try to change the text widget’s text with some dummy text to check if it shows up that way.
By checking the source code, there is no sign that there should be a text widget somewhere…
Please let me know what did you find out.

It is possible that for some reason some security plugin is modifying the text widget’s contents if it contains some links.
Please let me know how did you manage.
