    Hello,

For the past 4 years i’ve been building my clothing/lifestyle/street brand through my wordpress blog via a control pannel.

As of March 3rd someone hacked into my WP Admin account and locked me out completetly.

Now, my strongest online platform has been completetly destroyed…

I’m trying to restore everything to before March 3rd…

    My website was http://www.samurailabs.cc/MissionControl/

Now, I can’t even accsess the WP-Admin page… I have no idea whats going on…

Can someone please help me restore my blog/website to the way it was before the attack? I would kindly like to ask the community to assist me in restoring my blog back to its form prior March 3rd 2014

I have no idea what is going on… my website was SamuraiLabs.CC/MissionControl/

Here is a post I made using my original wordpress account… http://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-themes-37?replies=4#post-3087765

If I can gain accsess to that account then I might be able to restore the database using WP-Admin control pannel..

it used to be samurailabs.cc/MissionControl/wp-admin is how I get to my control pannel…

I cant even log into my samuraicc account anymore…. I click request password and it says it is sent to my email but I never receive an email…

I suspect that the hacker changed the email address, changed the password, and went into my control pannel and clicked DELETE SITE…

Have you talked to your hosting providers about this situation?

I havent. I’m in my GoDaddy FTP manager now and I see my wordpress folder.

I thought that my hosting provider wasn’t relevant since the hacker only gained accsess to my wordpress account..

I’d just like to be able to log into my WP-Admin Control Pannel and restore everything from an earlyer date..

Ideally your hosting providers would have everything backed up, depending on what service you have.

Alright, I’m going to contact them now.

However, I will still have the issue of my wordpress account being completely deleted or something…

I am not sure what has happened to it…

If you go to Samurailabs.cc/MissionControl/ the content is still there, but when u click anything it gets re-directed to Thesamuraibrand.cc and it says “Page Can Not Be Displayed”

Can anyone offer more explanation or clarity on the issue im facing with my WordPress accounts alone? Even the wp-admin is not working…

When I try to log into my WP-admin using the account information ive used for years it says my password is wrong. When I ask for Email New Password, no email ever arrives…

Your site has a bad report.

This WordPress page will get you started. It contains important links that you need to follow up on.

Restore your site from a clean backup then reset the salt keys in the wp-config.php file this will logout all active sessions.

Then work on hardening your wordpress security this tutorial has a lot of info.

Deny access to wp-config.php in your .htaccess, restrict the database permissions.

Remove any old plugin, theme which you suspect of containing vulnerability,

    Hope this helps

@ampli, in future could you link to the Codex resources instead? Thanks.

    Thanks guys.

Currently in the process of restoring my WordPress from an earlyer backup through GoDaddy.

Unfortunatly I never manually made a backup(idiotic decision) so I may have to pay GoDaddy to do this for me.

Please do not close this thread, I will update with my findings.
