I tried but didnt see any problem. Maybe other plugin bugging something? Try on a fresh install if you want or you can disable all plugins and enable 1by1

I’ve tried it on 2 different wordpress + woocommerce installs with same results. Also, I tried it on a fresh wp + woocommerce install with twenty twelve theme in use.
Tt started to happen after a wp or woocommerce recent update. The rest of the website (plugin + themes) were the same as before but suddenly new images’s thumbnails where created black.
I’ve tried regenerate thumbnails plugin deactivating sharpen resized images and thumbnails are right again.
Could it be a hosting bug? I’ve changed my hosting provider at the same time this started to happen.
I dont believe its plugin’s code. Hosting change can be the problem but plugin is not using rare php functions tbh. If a hosting have problem with this plugin, you should just escape from them :p
Anyway, if you can try on your local computer or another hosting, it would be much better to compare.

I have tried it locally and the problem doesn’t happen so it must be a hosting issue.
I’ll contact them to see what can be causing it.
When you find whats problem, please update this topic too. I will check what can i do for it.
