I am grabbing the url of the search, such as
    “url/search/#search/category=Blog&tag=Activities”
and am looking to create some links to preset search results. In testing it, it works, except that when the linked page loads, the dropdown is viewable and open, even though the ‘category’ has already been selected.

Is there any way I could have that dropdown hidden on the launch of that link?

    Thanks.

BTW, first found you guys Aug ’12 in version 0.3. Just refound you with the 1.5 update. Great work.

  • Yeah, I realize now that most people probably would prefer the dropdown to stay closed. We wrote it to open for another project and I just folded it back into the plugin without really thinking about it. I’ll fix it in the next release, but in the meantime, you can comment out lines 252 and 253 of /js/wpus-main.js

So great to hear! It’s been a long journey. Almost 20,000 lines of code. And much still to do. Thanks for your support.

    Happy searching!

Thanks for that info. And huge +1 for the timely support.

When I last looked at this, you were just getting the sales site up and trying to get indexing into 1.0. Lots of progress made.

Going to look deeper into your Pro version. Love the map feature. Will likely have questions there and will hit you with them at the site.

    Keep up the good work.
