   A little lost here so far..
   Just signed up and trying to build a website, it was recommended I use wordpress blog as the complete site.
   Can I actually build the site alone using this method? and where to start?

   Signed up with Bluehost and installed worpress, now trying to start building my website. I did manage to find my way to the "themes" section now. Do I simply choose one and my blog fits within?

   Your installation will come with two default themes. You can pick one of those from your admin panel and yes your website will all go within it. Or you can do a search online for free wordpress templates and find another theme that you like more, and upload it into your themes folder which is inside the wp-content folder. Then just select the new theme from the admin.
