• Hello All,

    My site has both blog posts, which are organized by categories, and several hundred static pages.

    I have not assigned a parent page to the majority of these static pages, because many of them are linked to by multiple “hierarchical” pages.

    For example, shop profiles are regrouped by broad geographical location, but some shops have more than one store, i.e. they appear in more than one geographical location. There are also several “best of” pages with selected listings, some of them overlapping due to the nature of the subject.

    For example:

    >shop map page
    –>listings area 1
    —->company A [location 1]
    —->company B
    –>listings area 2
    —->company A [location 2]
    —->company C
    —->company D

    >best of page sector 1
    —->company A
    —->company B
    —->company D

    >best of page sector 2
    —->company A
    —->company D
    —->company F
    —->company G

    How can I create a breadcrumb trail in this situation? Am wondering if there is an effective way to create a trail that reflect a visitor’s actual path, or whether I will need to modify the site’s structure before I can use the plugin.

    Thanks for any advice.
