Integration with Magento Go

Is anyone able to let me know if this plug in works with Magento Go? Being self hosted, it means that we don’t have access to the core files so can’t undertake the first key step, ie. modify ~/your-magento/app/code/core/Mage/Core/functions.php.

I saw that someone had asked the question previously in this thread but there was no answer posted:
