    Hi there,

I have read through other support posts and didn’t read any that are having the same problem as I am, so I am hoping you can help.

I have my website using this security plugin and find it is great.

However I have come across a rather strange issue.

I am using the same laptop, without clearing cookies.

When I try and access my protected URL, ie mywebsite.com/?randomnumber=1 from my home network over wifi, I can log in fine, enter my username, password and captcha.

However, I have been trying to access the site while out and about using the same link, over 3G with my mobile network provider, on the same machine, it is not bringing me to the login screen, instead forwarding to a page saying

Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?

Is there any reason that this would be happening? I don’t have any whitelisting options enabled, as I don’t have a fixed IP address at home, so was wondering if you have come across this any more, and if there is anything I can do to enable me to access the wp-admin section while on the move?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Jamie

    Hi,
I just tried the same test with my laptop and I was successfully able to login using my special cookie based brute prevention URL using both the 3G and WiFi network connections.
I also made sure not to delete the cookies and I used the same browser.

There must be something more going on with your setup.

In the cases where you were not able to connect, did you also try a completely different browser?

Are you running any other security plugins which might be blocking certain IP addresses?

Do you have lots of IP addresses/ranges in your AIOWPS blacklist? (ie, you might be inadvertently blocking an IP address which the 3G network is assigning to you)
