   Hello,

   I am sure this question has been asked (or even included in the Docs), but I just don't know what to search for (the search terms), so if you guys could point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

   Well, as the title says, my site (www.example.com) has a blog (www.example.com/blog) which is obviously not the main site.

   I would like to display my latest blog posts on my homepage (www.example.com/index.php), which is, again, not part of the blog.

   How could I do this?

   Search for "giving WP its own directory" and find this.
