• Hello,

I have a login button on my navbar. I also have a login or sign up tile with a buddypress avatar for guests.

After I login, the cache shows me the non-logged in home page. If I navigate away from the page, the menu, avatar, and everything looks great.

As soon as I click on the home button it shows me the “guest view”

If I do a hard refresh on Chrome, it does fix itself.

What is the best setting to stop this behavior? It’s a static page. I have disable home page cache and disable cache from logged in users checked.

Thank you for your patience and help.

I believe I might have found a solution.

I turned off each module, and found out that under the Browser Cache module, this was the cause.

    Set expires header
Set the expires header to encourage browser caching of files.

This must be turned off if you have dynamic menus or headers that change upon a user logging in.

I’ll continue to test this though.
