• Hey there,

This is my site: http://ima-mfa.hunter.cuny.edu/ and while the landing page has the correct background of some red stripes, every other page has this mustard yellow bg color. It says in inspector that its being invoked inline, but there is no evidence of that in the source. What PHP file (or wherever else) is this info usually set?

    Thank you,
    Grayson

  • Grayson,

Background color is actually managed in the CSS style script, which is probably called style.css somewhere in the root of your domain. However, most themes now days have some out-of-the-box customization available so that you don’t have to edit the css. Look for a tab that says Theme Options under the Appearance tab of your WP sidebar. Then just look for the color settings.

    Beautiful, thank you!

One weird note: The color that it was using was not being invoked in the CSS. I’m really not sure where it was coming from. In any case, the THEME OPTIONS over-wrote it.
