I have created a blog based on wordpress. I have choosen a theme, but I would like to change colors, insert some images, personalize it,... How can I do that? Do I have to edit the code? (I am not related to programming)

Well, if the theme files are "code" for you - then YES!
Scroll up, click on the Docs link and check out the "Design and Layout" section. -
