Resize Legend?

Is there any way to make the legend wrap down to a new line, or set the max width? I have a bar chart with 10 items in it, so the legend goes well beyond the bounds of my actual chart!

Really I’d prefer to have these labeled along the x-axis beneath the chart, instead of in a legend across the top, but it doesn’t look like that’s possible.
