Guests Can’t Register

    Over the past week I’ve had a handful of people say that they can’t register or are having trouble logging into their account on a couple of my blogs. It appears to be primarily a password problem – they can’t change their passwords after registering. I’ve tested it myself by registering a new account, and haven’t had any trouble, and others seem to be having no trouble because I’m still getting several registrations a day.

    Any ideas why this handful of people are having trouble?

    Hi there, under settings, general you may not havechecked the boxs under membership.
    Once these are checked you should have a register and login link available for your guests.
    Underneath that you can also set their initial membership.
    I normally keep this to subscriber, as you may not want your members to have more access rights at the present time.

    Hi again, what version of wordpress are you using, have you looked under settings general.

    Help. I don’t see a membership button under Setting > general?
