How to Modify WPtouch to display the Thesis "drop_cap" class?

    Thesis 1.8.5
    WPtouch 3.1.5 plug-in

    I use the drop_cap class in the Thesis theme throughout my site, as in:

    <span class="drop_cap">L</span>orem ipsum…..

    How could I modify the WPtouch plug-in installation to understand those existing instances of the drop_cap on my site and display to mobile?
