All image instances are working fine, apart from the featured image. So everything looks great apart from when you go to my portfolio page, and on a retina mac / iPad the images are fuzzy. I see from your site, that in an older version there was the option for featured images – but in the current version, it doesn’t show. If I go to settings it just has
    thumbnail (150×150) / medium (300×300) / large (1024×1024)

http://www.ryanbirse.co.uk/portfolio/ is where I am having the problem.

    Thanks.

If you featured image doesn’t use the medium or large then here is your issue. Check the FAQ and the tutorials about the plugin and you will understand why.

My question is more on your website, where you talk about the settings, it has in the Basics > Disabled Sizes > Thumbnail, Medium, Large, Post-Thumbnail, Large-Feature, Small-Feature.

Where as in my settings it only had Thumbnail, Medium and Large. Is there a way to enable these settings? Because it’s the feature image that I am struggling with, but there’s no option to update the feature image to Retina in my settings, but on you’re site tutorial there is?

    Thanks.

The feature image on your website uses a certain image size that should be registered in your WordPress. It might be medium, or large. Theme (or plugins) registers new sizes to WordPress then they appear in the Retina option (and also in your media). This is all depend on your theme basically, the plugin doesn’t create size types by itself. If it is complicated for you I recommend you to hire a developer for one hour or two, it might help you a lot, or do some research to understand how the sizes work in WordPress. I might write about it myself since I get the questions from time to time.
