importing data from textpattern…

i just installed wordpress on my MAMP Mac and am trying to use the import function to import my data from a textpattern db to no avail.
I go to the import page in the admin section and it reads:
“If you have posts or comments in another system, WordPress can import those into this blog. To get started, choose a system to import from below:”
yet there’s nothing below!?!?!
