Support » Plugins » Authimage – code not displaying

  • I’ve been trying to get the authimage 1.4.1 to work now for several hours, and I’m just about to give up πŸ™
I’ve followed the instructions veery carefully but the authenticication-image is still not displaying correctly. All I get is a grey square with no code on it. I think the rest of the script is working though, cause it prohibits commenting and asks for the correct code, plus the temporary images are piling up in my tmp-folder.
    Anyone else had similar problems?

  • You mention a grey square – what colour is the text / code meant to be ?

The script is generating a 155 x 50 px jpg image. The color of the square is set to medium gray, and the text is set to black. Still no text is displaying. The script generates a grey jpg-picture, but leaves out the text on it πŸ™

    Hi,
I use “Authimage 2.0.1”, but I had the same problem (image without code).
Maybe this could help you: in “authimage.php” I change the entry at “atomicclockradio.ttf”.
    Before: “atomicclockradio.ttf”
    After: “./atomicclockradio.ttf”
    Now it works.

Perfect! That worked for me, the text is now displaying correctly.
    Thanks a lot πŸ™‚

I found the Authimage installation truly exhausting, it’s taken me three hours to get working. I am a PHP vegetable.
Thank you ChristianL – your suggestiong was the final thing that made it work.
    :o)

danfekar – Have you tried using upper case? It seems that the code aways uses upper case letters and is case sensitive.
