same issue and need a solution for it. I use main menu pro plugin. this plugin not offers any conditional functionality. Would be good if someone knows how to disable the disable function in if menu.
I found out that this is an general WordPress issue by using 2 plugins using the same function. If you use “If Menu” and e.g. MegaMainMenu. “If menu” will be not able to work. But in the meantime MegaMenu has a solution for show a menu if you locked on or off. This is exactly what I was searching for. For me it is done.

Plugin no longer works!
Comparable only to WordPress 3.4 (2 years ago).
Developers site is dismantled.
When you upgrade to 3.8, all wordpress menus collapse and you have to recreate them all.
Too Bad! It was good.
thanks to all to try to resolve this but my proble still there!
So i mark it as resolve

Hi,
I’ll update the plugin in the following days, and hope it will work well. I’ll let you know when it’s done.
Hi, I’m using the Enfold theme and If Menu is not working with it, what can I do?
Anyone know of any alternatives to this plugin?
Until this one is fixed?
I see this thread is marked ‘resolved’, yet it in no way is.
The issue lies in the fact that WP lacks sufficient hooks to allow for multiple menu plugins to cooperate. A potential work-around was suggested to me by the author of Menu Image. See this thread.
Something I did was to install Font Awesome and use that, which employs CSS to insert image-looking text. Instructions on use are found therein. To hide the menu title you can set the class ‘fontawesome-text’ to ‘display: none;’.
