How do you know that the error wasn’t yours? Why didn’t you try to contact the plugin’s author about this by posting a topic in the plugin’s dedicated sub-forum?
Try reviewing:

simply because the plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years, and the support forums have un-answered topics that are over 2 years old, i figured it would be a waste of my time to put something on there.
also the pommo website is down. (http://pommo.org) I just want people to know that they shouldnt download this if they want something that works.
simply because the plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years
Did it not occur to you that the plugin may no longer be supported by its developer or be compatible with current/future versions of WordPress? That is what the high visibility warning on the plugin page says.
it certainly occurred to me! That is precisely why I put a bad review on it – people shouldn’t end up downloading a plugin that literally doesn’t work anymore. It’s no longer a good plugin. Seems simple enough to me. Sorry I offended you.
No offence taken. I simply wanted to clarify the situation with regard to this particular plugin. 🙂
