Removing "by" word in Crisp Persona theme with Show/Hide Author plugin

Hi all,
Here is my site. I tried the suggestions in this topic before starting my own thread. I am using the Crisp Persona theme, and would like to try to remove the word “by” with the Show/Hide Author plugin before going in to fiddle with a child theme.

Inspecting the block of code that yields “by Seetha Sankaranarayan” with Firebug, here is what I get:

For the field “The parent classes” I entered “byline” and that seemed to work in removing “Seetha Sankaranarayan”. I’ve tried several different options for the field “The regular expressions” but nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions?
