Unresponsive author, plugin is broken

    I’ve sent several emails to the author over the last two weeks with no response.

    BTC China doesn’t work, it simply doesn’t display any data. Additionally The plugin is only able to be used in one location on your site, say one sidebar. However, if you want to use it on multiple sidebars, or in a sidebar and on your homepage, for example, it won’t let you.

    This is unfortunate, because it’s a great looking plugin with lots of potential, but it’s currently crippled with no support from the author.

    I am very sorry that I had not gotten back to you. I have been majorly busy on other Bitcoin related projects and didn’t have time to update the plugin.

    I have since fixed the issue with BTCChina and removed MTGOX, I would need an example of the sidebar issue to fix this.

    Hi Richard. Thanks for the reply! Glad to hear there’s been an update.

    The sidebar thing, I don’t know how to explain it much clearer. Basically I have one sidebar for pages, and one for posts. If I add your ticker to the pages sidebar, it becomes greyed out in the widget area and can’t be added to the posts sidebar. ie. it’s only available to be added once per site.
