    I’ve been using opencart for my ecommerce website forover a year now, and someone deleted everything I had. I’m considering using wordpress but know nothing about it. It seems there are no phone numbers I really just want to talk to a real person and see if this is right for me.
    I have a couple questions
    1. Can I build an ecommerce website with wordpress and is there a limit on how many products I can have?
    2. How do I upload? I will have around 13,000 products to begin with and was using CSV Import Pro with opencart.
    3. Is there a way for me to have a drop-down vehicle look-up menu? I found one that only has one download and tried to install it but can’t figure out how to use it…
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi there! Yes, you can definitely use wordpress to build an ecommerce site.

    I suggest a theme that allows you to use the free Woocommerce plugin as it is a fantasic way to set up an online store.

    Uploading products would be from within your WordPress dashboard

    You can add a search bar to your site and many WP themes come with that all ready integrated in the theme itself.

    In addition to HappyZebra’s comments I would also recommend using the wpallimport plugin for importing all your products into WordPress/Woocommerce. It a great tool and I’ve used it several times when converting various ecommerce platform to WordPress.
