I’ve created a custom child theme that was running just fine. When I upgraded from Hueman 1.3.6 to 1.3.7, the side bars no longer go away when viewing on a tablet or mobile phone. I’m wondering what sort of conflict might be caused with the child theme due to the change.

This is my live site on which I’m running the 1.3.7

    My development site, running 1.3.6:

Is still responsive. Any ideas? Is there a changelog available? And, is it possible to roll back to 1.3.6? I suppose I could d/l the files from the dev site and ftp them up to the live one…

  • You can see the diff here. My guess would be that for example your child theme has not got the updated on/off code when it enqueues responsive.css for example.

Yes, that was it. First time I’ve done a child theme and hadn’t thought about updates in the main one goofing things up. Guess I’ll deploy on the development site first from now on.

    Thank you!

This has happened again. I’m not sure if it was a theme update or updating to WP 3.9. How do the version numbers on your github site correspond to the WordPress numbers on your theme? I show I have version 1.4.0 installed while github is listing versions in the 2+ range. Did something change between 1.3.9 and 1.4.0 that might effect the responsive side bards?
