    Hi,
Is my first time using EWWW Image Optimizer Cloud.
I’m trying to do a bulk action over all my media files (3700)…
It’s seems that all run properly but in many cases I’ve found this type of void output info:

    Imagen Optimizada 2011/06/libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo.jpg
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-150×134.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-240×134.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-96×96.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-121×121.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-60×60.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-184×134.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-207×134.jpg –
    libro-neurocirugia-funcional-motivo-140×94.jpg –

Is it a problem? The plugin has found any issue with these image??

    Thanks

    Hi again…
    Following previous post…
From image 600th and on…most of the image processing shows no information and time processing shows less than 0,1 sec…
In adds sometimes it shows me “licencing is over”…so it’s funny due I purchase a 5.000/images and at the moment of writing this the counter is 900 image.

As stated in numerous places, every image processed counts, including resizes. Since it appears your images have something like 9-10 resizes each, that adds up quick, so your license has indeed been exceeded. If you purchase a new one, the quote will be added to your existing key. You can cancel subscriptions that you won’t need permanently, and the extra quota will still be there until the end of the billing cycle (1 month from purchase date).

I’ll look to see if there is any information in the logs about those images with no image status, as that should not normally happen.

    Thanks!
I’ll wait for your log inspection to see if no-info was correct or not.
One of my aims is to optimize my entire media library.
Is supposed with bronze api key I could reach 500 images. If I buy new quota, I have to starting from the beginning or the plugin realizes that previous 500 images has been already optimized??
    Thanks

I’m not sure what the void output means at this point, those images never arrived at the cloud service, and if they didn’t exist or permissions were wrong, it should have output an appropriate message. Can you turn on debugging on the settings page, and bulk optimize a couple of the ones that had empty output, and paste the output on pastebin.com?
From the Media Library, you can just select those images, and then choose Bulk Optimize from the bulk actions menu.

Just saw your recent post, and the plugin keeps track of images that were successfully optimized, so you will not have to worry about those counting against your quota.

    Hi,

I see in Media Library that those files with no output information has the following message in the Image Optimizer Column (of the Media Library panel):
“No se pudo recuperar la ruta del archivo.”…that in english is: “File path could not be retrieved”
    Probably that help you..

I recorded with developer check on, over 4 of those no-info output files

    Thanks

That makes more sense. So it sounds like those are images still in the database, but they don’t actually exist in the uploads folder anymore. You might need to run something to regenerate the resizes. I think there’s a couple plugins out there that do that, something like Regenerate Thumbnails if I remember correctly.

    Hi,
Yes probably this is the issue. I’m using a staging copy of my productions installations, and this regenerations usually is needed…
Last question regarding your plugin functionality…I have a lot of big png images that i’d like to convert to a jpeg to reduce its size.
The link “png to jpeg” in media library apart of convert the image file… Does the plugin change the image url in the post…or I have to do it manually ?
    Thanks

It will attempt to update any urls it can find by querying the wp_posts table. Can’t guarantee it will always find all of them. For example, images in pages or used in other plugins may not be updated properly. It only searches in posts.

    Thanks a lot.
I’ll try with the premium quota
    thanks again
