I am having several issues I need help with

1- there suddenly is no submit button for one of my tasks (ThinkLink)- i am logged in and have not earned this achievement yet

2- double badges for the same task are showing up under my achievements

3- users no longer, after earning a badge, can mouse over it and send to credly.

4- once the update went through, the color of my site changed and the size of the videos changed

Thank you in advance for your help.

    1. Is there any css properties that are perhaps hiding it?

    2. Not sure what may be going on there yet, what page is this on?

    3. Can you check Credly to see if they’re perhaps already being sent automatically?

    4. Could you point out the specific parts that are being affected on which page(s)?

1- i hadn’t changed a thing- it just stopped working all of a sudden

2- i meant when people earned badges, they are seeing two of the same badge appear under my achievements

3- they aren’t – i have the api key in, however, if someone creates their own account on credly, how does my platform talk to their account? maybe that is a part of my issues.

4- i am going to assume these issues were associated with the theme update and not a badgeos thing

    thanks, michael

    1. Could you give me details on where it should be? So that I can check on some things.

    2. Checking internally. I’m not sure offhand.

    3. Could you read through this small list and verify each part for the achievements you’re working with? http://wordpress.org/support/topic/badgeos-to-credly-error-sorry-send-to-credly-failed?replies=26#post-5234084

    4. Yeah, theme stuff very easily can trickle down, as we don’t provide very much css at all. It’s meant more to be theme agnostic, but as a result, usually needs some tweaking by the site owners themselves to make it fit their site.

1- sure, when you are logged into the site, underneath each task, you will see a submit button. All of them are there, but ThingLinks and it had always been there until recently.

    2. ok- thank you- it is happening to all users, as far as i can tell

    3. ok- i’ll read through that list and get back to you on that all

Here’s what I’m seeing for the ThingLinks achievement I have http://cl.ly/image/1t2V1Y2b2c1E However I have that achievement already and I see the above at http://www.worlds-of-learning-nmhs.com/task/thinglink/ the only required task for the achievement.

Is there any chance I could be elevated to admin? I’d like to get some debugging taken care of and I won’t be able to at my current user level. I’m able to put some long focus on this and other lingering issues from users today.

One reply per bullet point for today:

    1. I’m now wondering if it’s a case of the user not having “access” to the achievement any more. I’ve traced my way through the code the best I can, and it’s only meant to show if I can see achieve it.

Those cases will be not being logged in, not having access to the achievement the submission form is tied to, or having a pending submission.

No access to the achievement includes the achievement type being incorrect, not published yet, exceeding max earnings, and not having completed necessary steps, when applicable.

I’m wondering if your user somehow got caught in the middle of that, and if new users are still properly seeing it.

    2. Aha! You have your tasks and badges named the same, and you’re also showing both tasks and badges in the widget. Thus it’s looking like you have duplicate achievements, when really it’s different achievements of the same name.

    3. Still not sure with this one exactly, but I also don’t know the credly side of things too well either. For whatever reason it may be at the end of the day, the achievement(s) aren’t getting detected as giveable or at least not giveable any more.

I am not sure what you mean by number two…i had always done it this way, for quite some time it was fine, and now they are showing double……i don’t know what you mean. who can i talk to on the credly side of things? I call and I don’t get anyone there, they don’t call back, and I tried tweeting them. My users are NOT getting registration confirmation emails and my hosting company (bluehost) is now telling me that is a problem on Credly’s side. I am extremely unhappy and frustrated and need some real support.

    #2 with the widget:

For example, you have a task named “Edmondo” and you have a badge named “Edmondo”. These are two different achievements that you have set up, in different achievement types. With the widget, you have it set up to show both achievement types, tasks and badges. Due to them being named the same, they appear duplicated, but they are actually separate achievements. Hope that helps with that part.

trying to use the credly badge builder within WP, but am getting an error message

Use of the “Badge Builder” requires BadgeOS v1.3.2 or higher. Please update your plugin to continue.

Visit your WordPress plugins menu and upgrade BadgeOS or contact your system administrator for assistance.

I do have this updated plugin installed
